This has been historically used for the treatment of malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax parasites. Quinine Sulphate tablets are used with other medications to prevent and treat malaria caused by Anopheles mosquito bites Parasites of Malaria enter the body through bites of this mosquito, and then live-in body tissues like red blood cells or may be in the liver. These tablets are taken after primaquine medications who have killed the malaria parasites living in other body tissues. This tablet is available only on doctor prescription.
